I am Shotzone Kidd, and I am a refugee.

I found shelter and a family in the Robocity community, but I come from war… war-torn places with only sad stories locked in the earth and cement.

I have come to Robocity in hopes for a better life, better opportunities, a real future…  and most of all, for love.  I want to be loved.  I want to know the love of a friend, a brother, and above all, the love of a mother.  I think that is why I came here, why I fought so hard to break free of my old life…  for love.

I have no mother, no father, no siblings. But I found many mothers, fathers and siblings in Robocity. I found open hearts, not just open minds.

It’s only May. I have time to settle down and forget the ugliness of my past life. I know I can. It’s only gonna take time.
